work.
I have had a similar problem since Friday connecting to
linux.citylink.co.nz.
Both nz.archive.ubuntu.com and linux.citylink.co.nz are back up again.
From what I could glean from the varied explanations from my ISP, the problem
lay between Telstra Clears Wellington equipment and that of Citylink in
Wellington.

randomly timing out its dialup customers?
