Any Gimp Experts in the house?

In Photoshop there's a 'magic lasoo' tool that attaches 'selection' to 
the outline of an object.  It's really useful for clear tracing something.

I can't find it in GIMP.  Does anyone know if there's a control plug in 
that does it?
