OK, there're a few possible issues here. 1. The original error message below shows that you're prefixing your tables with 'Wiki' 2. Is wikimedia accessing the database as roger? I thought it was using the user 'wiki', which is why I was asking you to access the database as that user, to ensure that the user had proper access to the database.
But... 3. When you set the prefix to '', then it *does* find the page table, but then falls over by not finding the table 'page_restrictions', which sure enough doesn't exist. I'd say that you're restoring to a different version of wikimedia than the original... as the database has changed shape ): Steve.
