I reckon Don's pitch was crap and he got deservingly roasted and toasted
[1]...
...next time... assuming Zane (and the group) will have me back...
I plan on 'facilitating a discussion' rather than a 'presentation' as
the group seem to really enjoy interjecting with comments from personal
experience.
I know that I really enjoy hearing everyone else's little horror stories
or tales with trying to make something go.
Anyway, David, thanks for the vote of thanks.
[1] ...and thanks to everyone for not giving me a hard time for not
using Linux for the presentation.
I got broken into 6 weeks ago and this was the second time I'd written
this presentation as my laptop got stolen - don't even go there with the
bollocking you know I deserve for not having a proper back up!!!
Latest APC mag came with Spring MDV2008 on it, so I'll be giving that a
blast shortly.
Got to love new machines with 160gb hard disks in them!!! Might get
more than one distro on it this time.
Does anyone know if there are issues with using GParted to resize a
Vista partition?
Cheers Don

I'd just like to record that Don's presentation was great. These talks
are always a tough gig in front of such a knowledgeable audience... I
reckon Don pitched it just right.

Anyway... Don - do you need a projector?
Yes, as I just finished my 18 page presentation for the second time!
I'd love the projector.
