Hello,
Someone's probably going to tell me that they got an answer to this from their
first Google search (but I have tried looking for this already), but here goes
anyway...
I know that there are a whole bunch of GPL compatable open source licenses out
there -- the Apache licence, the X11 license, the BSD licenses, the MIT
license, the Mozilla licenses(s) -- but what the heck are the nitty gritty
legal differences between them?! The GPL seems to be by far the most popular,
but that's all I been able find out, and I don't understand the
lawyer-readable legal code well enough to puzzle out all the differences
between the licenses for myself.
Has anyone already done this? I tried the Open Source Initiative's site, but
that didn't have a side-by-side comparison of any licenses.
Thanks,
Aidan
