Matthew

here's an old box only i had on Trademe (add below), you can have it if you
want if it's of any use

cheers.......dave

Computer Box Only

Intel Celeron (Mendocino) 466 MHz processor

256 ram (2 x128Mb)

6.4 GB hard drive

CD Rom drive

Ethernet card runs fine on ADSL and was laterly connecting to the interweb
via external 56k modem

Has been running PCLinuxOS and in use up until 24/5/08 but now replaced and
no longer needed.

The hard drive has been reformatted and has fresh install of Xubuntu 8.04
installed - to check that it is all running OK

Xubuntu runs (see photos) but really needs about 512 ram to be any good

I'll chuck in the PCLinuxOS & Xubuntu CD's if wanted

Previously (some time ago) had Windows 98SE/works/encarta/home publishing
etc. installed and the original disks are included (if wanted)

And no I won't reinstall Windows98SE and all the other stuff, why?

... because frankly I have a life and don't intend to spend several hours
looking at blue-screens-of-death and rebooting 5 million times, only to have
the install fail at 98% completed :-)

... but you are welcome to try if your a masochist

What else can I say it's a beige box but it may be good for a project, case,
power-supply or parts or even for the kids
