Hi-ho, Can some folks who are running asterisk successfully with Windows and Linux clients tell me what softphones they're using?
I'm using the version of asterisk that is in etch, which is quite old now. (1.2.13) If that is the issue I'll go from source, but I'm just interested in doing a simple working demo at this stage, I wasn't too worried about any bells and whistles. I've been using it at home for a while with Linux clients quite happily, but I'm getting some pretty crappy results with Windows clients using Zoiper, SJphone and iTalk Softphone so far... The main issue is that they do not register, so only work for outbound calls. Cheers, Me.
