[1] http://www.pfSense.org Which is a specialised version of FreeBSD with a web interface to set it up. In my exp. it works very well indeed. It requires a fair amount of knowledge to set it up. [2] http://www.IPCop.org Similar to above, but Linux based. Not as much networking lore required, but imho & exp. not as good as pfSense. i.e. the support of wireless cards is a right pain to set up.
