This is my main workstation, it is not always on - I have it and the 
windows machines on the network turning off in the evening.  Coming in 
at the beginning of the day, I turn it on, but given I tend to be an 
early starter, the windows boxes are not necessarily (probably not) 
turned on to be mountable at that time.
