I have an ordinary Pentuim Mobile ( P3 ) x86 which does not have the 3Dnow instruction extensions. The current OLPC binaries test that the hardware or emulator, and kernel offers these instructions, and crashes with an error message if it does not. I'm hoping to use the VirtualBox emulator because until we hit this 3Dnow problem in my exp. it 'Just Works' > Whats the strength of Sabyon? It's a binary distro closely based on Gentoo. There is a Professional Edition. It is free of unecessary game and similar junk programs, it's based on the Gentoo Stable release.
