Two more options: 1) Some ADSL modems allow you to set outbound filters blocking specific ip addresses or ip ranges. 2) http://www.opendns.com Open DNS is free and allows you to choose a huge range of website categories that you can block for users on your network. Everything from porn sites, file sharing, video sharing, social networking etc. You can also add specific domains to the block list. Once you've created an account you simply change your nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf to use the opendns nameservers. It's a very, very good system. I don't use it myself, but if I had staff in my office and wanted to increase productivity I'd be installing it fast :) You can even put custom warning messages on blocked pages that your staff will see if they try to visit blocked sites.
