The browser-based front end is a part of vmware server 2. If you're on the same server as
the one running vmware, then you can start it by typing vmware from the command line, or
fire up your browser and point it to https://<server>:8333 (
http://<server>:8222 usually redirects to this ).

Does anyone know of a way to open the VMWare Server 2 "remote console"
for the guests directly, without first opening the VMWare front end
mentioned in this email then clicking on the remote console link for the
virtual machine?
