The LUG I may well be joining [1] has something similar to what Jim is
proposing. Afternoon of first Sunday of the month for a presentation or what
have you, and a pub evening on a fixed day of the month. In their case the
15th. Even though they seem, from their web page, to be in a similar state
of activity as us, I think that that is worth trying.
