I usually work wearing a half decent pair of headphones, so when I got dragooned into getting a headset, I bought an USB one to save having to swap plugs back and forth.
However, this *thing* just refuses to work properly. I can get it so I can hear myself in the headphones, so it should work. I have it set up so that pulseaudio *should* be transmitting to all available sound devices. pulseaudio sees both the nvidia support that's driving my (audio) headphones, and the USB headset. The headset will not receive any audio from any of the usual suspects - amarok, audacious, totem, mplayer, etc.... Has anyone got what should be a simple plug and play soluition working on (64bit) Jaunty? If it makes any difference, it's a Logitek Clearchat comfort (poorly named!) headset. Alternatively, if anyone has an idiots guide to getting asterisk to accept an incoming SIP connection, I'd be far more grateful... and enjoy reversing over this headset!
