Out of the blue my mail client (Opera) has stopped sending messages. I did a clean install of Mepis 8.0.1 and Opera 10 and sending just stopped. Receiving messages is fine and sending via another client (KMail) is fine so it is not the ports or firewall stopping things. My ISP say they do not require authentication to send messages. A log of an outgoing connection reveals:
