Why can't I convince hal to mount by USB drive where I want it to? I need it to mount at /media/Port-Docs (as it used to) so that I can use my old Unison archives. Everything seems to be right in the following, except that hal cheerfully ignores my gconf mount_point

$ gnome-mount --write-settings -h /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_4860_877F \
             -m Port-Docs
Writing settings for volume
hal udi:      /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_4860_877F

$ gconftool -R /system/storage/volumes
/system/storage/volumes/_org_freedesktop_Hal_devices_volume_uuid_4860_877F:
 mount_point = Port-Docs

$ mount | grep -i port-docs
/dev/sdc3 on /media/PORT-DOCS type vfat ...

$ lshal | egrep '^udi|sdc3|mount_point'
udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_4860_877F'
 block.device = '/dev/sdc3'  (string)
 volume.mount_point = '/media/PORT-DOCS'  (string)
