1 year ago I bought an IBM TP600 on ebay for $350. Replaced the 2.3 gb
drive wiith a 20GB Travelstar (ebay for $100) and replaced teh 266
processor to a 300 (ebay again $55) This machine is actually now a very
valuable machine to me. I have run eD2.4 and now SuSE 7.2 P. Runs the 2.4.9
kernel and win4lin with windows 98 SE. I use ICEWM for th eWM and it is
actually quite usable. A Linksys wireless card for when I'm at another
location and a Xircom modem/nic for at the office. I love this old thing!
