It looks as though there's some Make errors in the latest drop of the
kernel. Running make xconfig fails here during the sound card processing.
However, using a .config from a recent 2.5.5 compile project, skipping the
make xconfig step and going directly to make dep works...
Look for a 2.5.6 patch real soon now... :')
