I don't think so. When opening a link from within Moz-mail, it'll open in an active tab. But I don't think there's a way to do it from the command line, which is what I suspect you'd need for Sylpheed to do it. > 2) In addition, the option can be set to open a new tab in the running > instance. > I believe there's a RFE bug for Moz mail to open URLs in a new tab, but I also think that it's a WONTFIX. > Am I out of luck with plain old Mozilla, i.e. do I have to install the > gnome-crap just to use galeon, because I like this feature? I'd recommend searching bugzilla for what you want (bugzilla.mozilla.org). If you don't find anything, enter an RFE bug for the ability to open a URL in a new tab from the command line. It wouldn't get implemented 'til post 1.0, but it's worth an entry. -- Caldera eWorkstation 3.1, kernel 2.4.9, KDE 2.2.1, Xfree86 4.1.0 12:00pm up 15 days, 13:47, 7 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 It's what you learn AFTER you know it all that counts _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list - http://linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Archives, and Digests are located at the above URL.
