Well, from the replies I've seen, Linux bigotry is alive and well.  
Imagine that on this list?   My offering will be in the same vein.


A low end pc, pentium class is my preference.  A stripped distribution 
loaded on it with Freeswan compiled in.  Or, one of the custom 
firewall/router/gateway distributions such as Smoothwall, 
ClarkConnect, Microtik which comes with Freeswan I believe.  At the very 
least,  a Freeswan to Freeswan implementation will be the most compatible 
and easist to implement.
