I've got a gateway machine that is running pmfirewall (ipchains script) and is seems to be choking up on realaudio.
Whenever I select a clip, realplayer opens, and displays the title of the clip so it must be getting something at least. However, it times out when attempting to buffer the source. I am advised by the program to check my transport settings, which I have done, but when attempting to use the auto-configure method for selecting a transport realplayer returns a cannot connect to server error message. PMFirewall is set to load the ip_masq_raudio module when it starts up, and based on the output of lsmod this module seems to be loading, but apparently this is not enough. Any idea what else I might need to do to get things working?
