On Apr 2 Matthew Carpenter was heard saying:

<snip>

->saying that the USB Device refused to take a new address or something).
->When I return from Suspend, I get nothing. I don't even get any screen
->(although I know it has signal since I can see the backlighting). I'm
->confused. I thought APM was supposed to WORK on a computer. Perhaps it's
->just a fancy way to cause fsck to check the partitions.
->
->Any help would be... well, helpful :)

*** Did you have a look in /etc/sysconfig/apmd (for RH and Mandrake)?
There is an option to uncomment where apm will shutdown USB (and NFS, and
X if you wanted so) before suspend.

Cheers,
Zoran.
