Firts up before I get to avifile, I bought crossover office an installed it. Apart from using photoshop in vmware it has enabled me to do away completely with a windows dual boot partition. Its wierd to see word, IE, excel etc on a linux desktop and panel. Do they work natively, well mostly they do there are problems but this is a first, and also a very new use for wine. Ok I know and use staroffice but it was dearer and this is available now plus I am using it to sell linux to ther users. I also runs some accounting package for windows and I cannot remember what its name was, someonme here was talking about it a while ago.
