Hello All,
Has anyone had any luck, gotchas, step-by-step files/sites with using
wireless USB adapter under SuSE 8 or any flavor of Linux? I am convert-
ing my house's intranet to wireless and have gotten the first two pieces
as trial from CompUSA, a Siemens pcmcia card and a Siemens USB adapter.
So far I can only get this to work under WinBlowsXP, but would much
rather add the USB to my gateway/router box as a third adapter for my
cable modem to intranet access/masquerading/forwarding using SuSEfirewall2
v2.1.
What I've got now:
Gateway box: internet->cable modem -> eth0
eth1 -> intranet
What I would like
Gateway box: internet->cable modem -> eth0
eth1 -> intranet
eth-usb-0 -> intranet
Any help or gotchas would be appreciated.
