Scribbling feverishly on May 16, Bonez managed to emit: > When I boot up, linux loads fine (kernel 2.4.2, but soon to be 2.4.18), but > I still see a message stating "Modprobe: can't find module". > > I believe this has something to do with the video module or video card > selection. Where would I look to resolve this? > > Also, when booting I get a message that says "Advanced Configuration and > Power Management : FAIL".
Ah. This would be a Red Hat system, yes? > How do I address that issue as well? Look at the output of dmesg (dmesg | less). That will give you more clues about what's going wrong. There should also be useful information in /var/log/messages. Kurt -- Screw up your courage!
