Hi Michael, Linux Training/Certification is something that I am planning on using to increase my Linux knowledge, I have found that when I use something and i have to understand it so I can pass a test it sinks in most of the time. I am planning on going for the Linux +, then the LPI and in 12-18 months when I will hopefully be competent enough go for the RHCE. I have managed to convince work to pay for the on-line RHCE courses so that will help. The rest I will be learning by playing and reading books. I also have another project running which is configuring a BSD box, that is helping me learn and understand.
With the RHCE, be carefull, I have heard from some people who have taken it, that it is a real ball breaker, but at last a certification that means something...... I hope that this is of some help.
