JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0 but I guess that was obvious... But having been a newbie a yr or two ago if you don't know what your looking at you wont know what your looking at... sometimes I feel a lot of the linux documentation is hard for newbies because the typos make it difficult to sort wheat from chaf.
