Printing (and sound cards) seem to be the "standard" setup problems. There are a variety of notes on the SxS site, there are How-To's about printing at the linux documentation project http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Printing-Usage-HOWTO.html and my favorite source "Running Linux" (O'Reilly Pub.)
