Add some RAM and see what happens. My "son of lab rat" system is a Pentium 233, originally with 64 MB of EDO RAM. I obtained two 64 MB EDO DIMM's cheap and goosed up total RAM from 64 MB to 160 MB. Hoo Haa! KDE 2.x is a RAM hog. I'd suggest downgrading to KDE 1.x or adding RAM. -- Leon A.
