I really like the SuSE distro as a whole. I'm running 8.0 on a box or two. If they'd only make their "all-emcompassing" config tools play nicely with REAL config files, I might be able to run them as my main distro... But then I've already covered that one too many times so I'll shut up. Although DEP has mentioned that customizing the config too much can lead to a very long, cumbersome, error-oprone install. My experience has been that slightly custom installs go smoothly if at all... since my dad's Vaio rejected SuSE's installer at kernel load. COL installed just fine.
