I doubt that the build procedure for XFREE has changed much.  Go to
www.linux-sxs.org then select XFREE.  There is a simple procedure I
wrote for X403, and a more complex one including tt fonts for X410. 
Just change 403 or 410 to 420 everywhere and enjoy.
