Red carpet is free or commercial. The app handles all dependicies. I used it on a 7.3 system that had not installed any gnome at all. Gtk had later been added. Red carpet did everything and both gnome and evolution are working fine. It also updates rh7.3 better than network agent, well, not better, but I like it better.

I'll check it out. > But if you > really need to do things the hard way, > redhat 7.3 rpm > http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libgtkhtml Those are the same versions already installed on my RH 7.3 system, not the ones Evolution is asking for. Oh well, I installed it --nodeps and it seems to run but who knows what bugs lurk because of the old libraries. I keep thinking that somewhere there exists a solution for Dependency Hell. (Other than going to Windows where I can enjoy DLL Hell.)
