IIRC, it handles more character sets, more document types, allows you to have multiple document repository inputs into one search database. it does database updates as well as additions and deletions. that being said, you may find htdig is kewl for you. I just know when I tried to use it to replace swish-e on the sxs, I kept running into roadblock after roadblock. namazu didn't have them. - -- Douglas J Hunley (doug at hunley.homeip.net) - Linux User #174778 Admin: Linux StepByStep - http://www.linux-sxs.org and http://jobs.linux-sxs.org Linux us a _real_ OS, not some "we filled in the paperwork and it is now standards compliant". -- Linus Torvalds -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9h+x3SrrWWknCnMIRAr5nAKCQ8yle5Y/2AneMJqDliu1EiDor7ACggFzF 4RwPU2Q/ack+VyretjR8KOo= =fyj/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe/Suspend/Etc -> http://www.linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
