I had a customer who had the same problem and they used the solution that Jay suggested. In fact, it was the same blue carbon from airline tickets... What they did was buy red tented plastic film (Very light red tent). Red+blue=black The type presentations are given on using overhead projectors. They taped two pieces of the tented film together at the top using clear plastic packing tape (The thin kind) and would slip the document into the resulting red tended pouch. Doing it this way, they could scan both sides without taking it out of the pouch... They would just flip the pouch. They had to play with the setting on the scanning software in order to get good scans, but once they had that down it was a no-brainer.
