is it an internal modem? isa-pnp is for cards on the ISA bus. > I have a Gateway P5 166 Mh processor, two 8 gig hard drives, a US > Robotics 33.6 K modem. I've been remodeling our bedroom and I had a Dr.'s appointment. Dr. appt is in Medford, OR a 225 + mile round trip from Happy Camp. Takes a full day. I think I figgered out my problem, at least on 3.1.1. Can't do it like earlier OL's. Went to the Help button. Need to edit the inetd.conf file. May need help when I get a minute to do this. Wife seems to think just because we've lived in the house 32 years it's time to re-do bedroom? It is an internal US Robotics voice/fax 33.6 K modem.
