Actually there was an article about this recently citing a Seattle area financial institution (a credit union if I remember correctly) saying that they cannot accept Microsoft's current licensing terms because they require the M$ have access to their computers at any time to check for necessary updates, audit for unlicensed software, etc. This is in total violation of U.S. banking and privacy laws which require fairly stringent controls on who has access to systems, audit trails...
