I have finally installed the newest flash macromedia player, 6.0. Opera
runs fine. I don't think it solved my crashing problems, but:
Now when I try to run netscape 7.0, I get this complaint:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library
/mnt/hda4/usr1/local/netscape-7.0/plugins/libflashplayer.so
[libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]
I do have libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 on my box. I just successfully upgraded
glibc to 2.2.5.
Does anyone know if I have to chase down this library or could I just make a
symbolic link from the old one to the new one?
