Christmas cheer is always appropriate, and the bright eyes of youngsters on Christmas morning make all the hustle and bustle worthwhile. BTW, my 16 year old daughter still believes in Santa, or at least in Mrs. Claus who arises early on Christmas morning to fill the stockings and bring out the best of the presents all wrapped in the same paper. We can be really thankful for the trunk loads of gifts and most especially for the prospect of continued employment. My company decided again this Christmas to hand out pink slips for a chosen few just in time for the holidays. Even we survivors are glum. I, for one, am quite thankful that Christmas has brought a little bit of rain to Australia.
