There is now a new or extended fonts handling mechanism with a config file and a cache file. The cache file is updated based on the config file when you run program fc-cache, and this needs to be run when you screw with the tt fonts. The config file allows you, among other things, to set up aliases for similar font families and to control antialiasing, and you can have a private (~) copy of the files as well as system-wide files. There's a fair amount of stuff to be had via google, but I've yet to come upon a really succinct presentation of the changes. man fc-cache is helpful also. -- Collins Richey - Denver Area gentoo 1.4 system _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe/Suspend/Etc -> http://www.linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
