The z53Photo.sh is one I wrote myself. You won't have it. It is just z53.sh which uses a different configuration file, one that is configured for glossy photo printing.
Can you run the lexmark configuration program, as root, lexmarkz53? It should be installed in /usr/local/lexmark/z53/ although there may be symbolic links in your path to it. Are there any useful messages in one of the status files in /var/spool/lpd/z53 ? Joel > Well, the cake's a little dry <grin>.
