I'm not sure there's any configuration to do. I've done no explicit
configuration but still have:
$ cat /proc/mtrr
reg00: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size= 256MB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0xf2000000 (3872MB), size= 32MB: write-combining, count=3
reg02: base=0xf8000000 (3968MB), size= 64MB: write-combining, count=1
All I've done is enable MTRR's in my kernel configuation.
