Jim: To be honest, I am certain I don't have the System.map copied over correctly. Here's what I did after the last compile run: cp /linux-2.4.20/System.map /boot/System.map-2.4.20. That's probably not the right thing to do, but it's what I tried. I am way new at all this, so I do appreciate your patience with me.
