[gentoo] the new xfs fs support

it's the 1.4 rc2 686 LiveCD

just downloaded the gentoo 1.4rc2 LiveCD.
the installation guide didn't mention how to create a xfs root partition. what should I do to use xfs?

btw, the step of using dd to clean the first 1k of partition could be dangerous, isn't it? a wrong output device will render your harddisk unbootable, if not daming the FAT of an existing data partition.... :)
