I've not tested 8.0 because i've heard a few too many nightmare stories.
In my opinion, 7.3 (XFS) is ideal for a server environment.  8.0 is prolly
ok for a desktop, but i wouldn't depend on it for stability.  That and the
fact that there's no simple way to get 8.0 installed on XFS right now.
