*** I'm opting for the "poorly run business" option. Since I came to France and after having been here for 10 years there's one constant in the French run their business: A lot of talking, meetings and no action. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Mandrake's problem too. And even if it wasn't, frankly, what made Mandrake more interesting compared to their competitors? They went for the eye candy with a superb installer interface, zillion of menu's and sub-menu's under KDE, continuously adding new features without properly debugging the old ones... People don't switch to a Mandrake to be confronted to the same bullshit they were served by the Redmond gang. I'm sorry but I can't really regret their disappearance.
