I had one working copy, but its surface was scratched badly. All recent attempts to pull the same disk image off ftp.iso.caldera.com failed to produce a working cdrom.
Maybe you should try downloading the ia-64 version of WS 3.1.1, and see if your problems 'magically' go away.
