I'm not really looking for a server; but the
workstation version is not available.

As for X on a server, I administer a remote server
using tightvnc.  Being able to work with multiple
terminals on one screen is a great time saver.  (One
of the terminals is usually running Midnight
Commander, so I can review file locations.)
