that's what dd is for. its free, and works as advertised.
Perhaps I can just change the partitions to ext2, let DriveCopy copy theif you trust this DriveCopy thing. quite frankly i'd be very concerned about using a commerical product that can't even understand your filesystem.
entire disk to the new one, and then change them back to ext3 so everything will work again?
