DVD jitters

[Net Llama!]

I've had a DVD player for a bit over a year, and today, suddenly whenever I play any DVD, the picture jitters. Sound quality is fine, but the picture just shakes up & down. This is with the same version of Xine that i've been using for quite a while. Anyone have any ideas?
