There's a new IETFs Research Group called "Anti-Spam RG": http://www.irtf.org/charters/asrg.html The goal is to create a framework where individuals can express their "consent or lack of consent for certain communication" and "have the architecture support those desires". The results should make tools like SpamAssassin less needed, by focusing on filtering the emails closer to the source, which would lead in less network usage by spammers. Sounds nice, but is this possible? - -- Ernesto Baschny <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.baschny.de - PGP: http://www.baschny.de/pgp.txt Sao Paulo/Brasil - Stuttgart/Germany [EMAIL PROTECTED] - ICQ# 2955403 - ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Y1zB2MO5UukaubkRAiR5AJ98g/9SvD3rBhDU3zXVuQi909XCKwCfdFco 3Ikh7uUUu2SbOGS7ufns81A= =mgfp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe/Suspend/Etc -> http://www.linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
